This book is poorly written and the content is gross! Don't waste your hard earned money. This book gives a perfect example of the bad side of tourism. This writer has another book that is much better. I read that book and that is why I bought this book but I was very disappointed. I could not finish reading this book because it was not worth my time.
This is an excellent book about Jamaica. I purchased it with the plans on going next winter. The author draws on a vast knowledge of the area and paints a vivid picture of the area and its resorts, including Hedonism. Overall one of the if not the best book I have read on Jamaica. Highly recommended.
Not so much a travel guide As a personal account of several trips to Negril. Interesting accounts of local culture and side trips from negril.But reading was spoilt for me by the many many references to women's bodies and his reaction to them.
It really made me excited to go to Negril. It helped me form a vision of my trip and helped me understand what to expect...
This is one of my favorite book0s about Jamaica - bought it in hardback first now I am going to get in on my Kindle! Great read!
