I may have bought this book for wrong reasons. While I understood it to be a guide for bird watchers I also thought it covered plant and flower varieties in detail. It in fact was almost exclusively dedicated to birding and if a bird enthusiast you will probably love it. As it is I did find some information of use but it didn't offer the information I was hoping to find in regards to plant life.
I bought this to expand my knowledge of nature on O'ahu, but I find the pictures and the books information confusing and lacking. Much of it also feels more like the author's log book, rather than a researched book for those wanting to learn more about what O'ahu nature has to offer and where it came from.
